Title: Learning To Make C++ Game Hacks

I was wondering any good places to learn c++ game hack creation. I want to make my own private GMod hack for personal use and for learning purposes. Where should i get started? I know some c++ and a lot of other languages but dont really know how to apply it to hacking a game.
