You have to pay for CSS but you can find a free version offline just download it, then add it your Addons folder in gmod, then restart your game and BOOM you have textures.

you need to have counterstrike source texture but u can find them pretty mush anywhere on youtube so u just need to download it and insert it in your gmod folder

Seeing black and purple squares or red errors means you dont have the textures required to show it.
If you dont have the games as in owning them on your steam account then Gmod wont let you mount them (for their content...)
Theres a site that allows you to download the textures and or maps if you want to but i cant go into more detail than that because its been a long while since i myself have done it, you should probably look up a tutorial though.

go to cscheater and download cs source skins. or you know, buy cs source. Theres plenty of youtube videos on fixing that issue

Easy Fix, just search up on YouTube, "How to download missing CSS Content" and lots of tutorials will come up for you.

Download css textures or buy the game, if you download the textures only put it in your addons folder

you are probably missing CSS textures which you can find simply by searching up a youtube video on it

I also had that problem but then I fixed it. I fixed it by downloading the maps and game content from Counter Strike: Source.
