well it depends if people report you to the admin and they ban you for hacking but no you wont get vac banned and dont have to rebuy gmod again if you use bigpackets  ;)

all bans on gmod, as far as I know, are server bans and after banned you can just find a new server. just be careful on the servers you like.

well all bans on gmod can NOT lead to vac ban! gmod is one of the only games with the hl2 engine who does not have vac ;)

You can only be banned from servers. You can't get your steam account banned. Vac was disabled on GMOD years ago.
