im not sure but some people say you can get vac banned for using hacks is this true?

No it isn't, vac doesn't really support gmod. You can only be banned from servers and thats it.

Last time I checked, this game does not have vac. No server has vac. But there are things like CAC which the owners of the server put on so you might want to be careful.

VAC is not used on Garry's mod. That's why servers tend to use third party anti cheats.

No you cannot get vac banned on gmod. There is only one cheat that is vac detected and it is called BaconBot.

Yeah, What that guy said. BaconBot is 1 of the exploits which get detected 9/10 times.

If you have ever played counterstrike source or counterstrike GO and joined a community server you can see in the bottom right it will say "THIS SERVER IS VAC SECURED" while joining. If you join a server on gmod it doesn't say it. Oddly enough the gmod store page on steam says it has vac but I have hacked on gmod with multiple hacks for multiple hours on my main account and only been banned from individual servers.

VAC dosen't exist on garry's mod, though people have made there own anti cheats, but i'm pretty sure this bypasses all of them.
