gmod 2 sounds absolutely perfect. But it would have to be after valve made the next source engine which will take who knows how long.

I think that he will soon have announced Half Life 3 (E3) but Garry's Mod 2 I think not

No. id rather they worked on the current gmod fixing bugs, crashes, n all that than make a new game... keep in mind they'd probably abandon the old game...

I think they should make new patches for the current gmod rather than making a new game, or they should give gmod 13 owners a copy of the new gmod

Apparently, a sequel to Garry's Mod was announced last year.
It's going to be called "S&Box".
