Garrys Mod / Any tips to improve FPS while the offical one is down?

got a great Pc can run any game on ultra but even low Gmod goes to like 10-20 fps with the hack on even with fps boost in config... Any gmod/BP savvy people who can give me some tips please? thx!

You can lower your fov and aim at them for a second or two or miss a few shots on purpose.
