[Gmod] Melee Aimbot?

Melee weapons have been a hard thing to use with this aimbot,  people see you doing 180 with melee weapons following a player model perfectly = kick/ban. So, if possible,  detect a melee weapon in the hand, set a max distance filter and turn off target locking automatically. Would be a nice fix.

might be a little bit hard to filter what is and isnt a melee weapon. maybe it should be set up by a peer to peer basis

Yes it's a cool idea, but inherently improbable.

The way most SWEPs are written does not allow them to surpass anything not laid out in gLua.

It would either have to be a SWEP that does not affect the player model (very rare considering it's easy to add animations to these things), or something that displaces the action of the SWEP.

It would be more of a SWEP by SWEP basis thing, which would take longer to update and (most likely) have to be added by hand.
Each and every time.

It's a hell of a lot easier to move a bullet or an aim angle than it is to restrict the server-sided movement of bones.

While I agree, I feel like it would be difficult to make, especially with all the weapon mods on Gmod.
