Why would you need a hacked client synergy

I don't think hacking on half life 2 is a needed thing when all the NPCs except the bosses have less than 100 hp? and your guns do more than the soldier guns?

Why would you even need a hack hl2 is pretty easy, unless your doing bhop or something i dont see the point.
